Jinshan Kindergarten: Hi kids!Easter Party is coming!

On Friday, April 3rd , 2015 the Suzhou Foreign Language School Kindergarten celebrated Easter.
We had a fantastic Easter party thanks to the participation and help of our volunteers Parents and our Chinese team. The kids had an incredible afternoon, running with daddy and mommy from Guessing game ran by CoCo Class to Cooking/Cookie Decorating, conducted by Nemo Class, Science experiments ran by Lily Class, race conducted by CiCi Class, DIY ran by YoYo Class and music conducted by Mickey Family Class.
After our activities and workshops, kids and parents went for the egg hunt. Our afternoon, celebration ended with a generous “buffet” provided mostly by our great parents. Yummy, yummy!
Easter is not only the occasion of egg hunt but has its meaning and origin. It is a festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Easter is always a Sunday, many countries in the world also have Easter Monday as a public holiday. The custom of the Easter egg originated in the early Christian community of Mesopotamia. Many Americans follow the tradition of coloring hard-boiled eggs and giving baskets of candy. The Easter Bunny is a popular legendary anthropomorphic Easter gift-giving character analogous to Santa Claus in American culture.
Thank you to our fantastic Chinese team and great parents without whom this western event would not have been possible!
