The second youth student exchange activity between Suzhou and Hong Kong was held in our school
 
 
On December 22nd, the second youth student exchange activity between Jiangsu and Hong Kong, organized by Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation of Jiangsu Province, was held in our school.
Teachers and students from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.1 and No.3 Secondary School came to our school for a seven-day cultural exchange activity.
 
Mr. Ma Yunpeng, the Executive Vice Secretary-General of Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation of Jiangsu Province was the host of this launching ceremony. Many leaders also came to the scene, they were Mr. Zhen Xiang, the Vice President of Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Ms.Yu Meilan, the Chairman of Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation of Jiangsu Province, Mr. Pan Jing, the Investigator of Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Ms. Shen Jinhua, the President of Suzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and other leaders from Suzhou government.


 
On the evening of December 21st, our school prepared a welcome dinner for teachers and students from Hong Kong. 

 
In order to welcome the students from Hong Kong, our school students specially prepared a welcome performance including our school wind band, guzheng, dancing and Kunqu Opera.
 
In the following days, students from Hong Kong will have classes and meals together with our students. They will experience traditional culture classes such as Chinese calligraphy, ceramics, paper cutting and Kong Fu.
 
As the organizer, Principal Dong Bin expressed a warm welcome to our Hong Kong friends and said “this is a significant exchange activity, students from Suzhou Foreign Language School and Hong Kong will experience the greatest strength of historical culture and the national spirit”. 

 
Also, Principal Dong and Mr. Huang Jianhao, the teacher from Hong Kong exchanged gifts. 

 
Mr. Zhen Xiang, the Vice President of Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, hoped that there would be more in-depth communication and exchange between Jiangsu and Hong Kong, through which the friendship between the youth in Jiangsu and Hong Kong can be enhanced.
